Since the start of the program in 2019, our proactive commitment to safety has made a significant impact making our recordable injury rate 70% better than the industry average. Homegrown programs like the Majestic safety commitments and our safety observation system are designed for anyone in the company to raise safety concerns and ensure they are addressed with accountability. And as the Mission’s name implies we’re not done yet. We’ll continue to push ourselves until our incident number reaches zero.
Every year, MissionZero’s sustainability arm recycles 132,000 pounds of steel scrap, saving it from ending up in landfills. But we don’t end at just the plant floor, everything from the design of our offices, digitalization of documents, and warehouse operations take into account the effect we have on our environments
Majestic values our people and champions our communities. We have a presence in 5 states and 7 cities and give back by supporting an average of 23 organizations every year, including the Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, and Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
